The goal of the CAL FIRE/TCFD Training Bureau is to develop and maintain a county and unit wide cooperative training plan that serves the need of all agencies delivering fire, rescue and emergency medical services within Tuolumne County and in the CAL FIRE/Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit.

Students attending classes are required to be registered with Columbia College. Please click on link below to register and you will receive a W # in a day or two. Once you receive a number that begins with the letter "W" you can then register. This number is needed in order to register for classes no exceptions. Apply to Columbia College here.

Registrations are only accepted online. To register click on the class link below. Make sure you are enrolled as Columbia College Student (see above) prior to enrollment. Registrations open 60 days prior to the course start date. Make sure you meet all prerequisites for the class you are enrolling and do any pre-course work that may apply.
If the student does not contact the Training Bureau within 1 week prior to attending a course to cancel registration, is a no show or drops out of a course mid-class they will not be allowed to register for any other course that training season without prior approval from the Training Bureau Battalion Chief or Assistant County Fire Warden.
Training for firefighters can be found in many places. There are many local city stations that offer their own trainings and there are also self-paced computer based training resources.
