CARB Diesel Regulations Information

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) Diesel Regulations

are sometimes modified and updated.  A Regulatory Advisory (MSC 13-28) was recently issued which discusses potential changes to the On-Road Truck and Bus Regulation.  There are also several workshops scheduled in December 2013 to discuss and receive input from the public on these potential changes.  It is important that you register your truck into CARB's database (TRUCRS) by January 31, 2014, to take advantage of the anticipated regulatory changes.  Please see the following link for more information:  http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/truckstop/truckstop.htm.

To register your off-road diesel equipment with the CARB go to the
Diesel Off-Road Online Reporting System (DOORS).

Diesel Engine Replacement / Retrofit Grants Are Available

The Carl Moyer Program is currently accepting applications for diesel engine retrofits and replacements. Contact Bill Sandman at 209-533-6673 for more details.
