To better prepare yourself in the event of an emergency, navigate through the links below to develop your own personalized evacuation plan and learn what kind of preparations can make your property more fire safe. Citizens are able to register for the emergency alert system, develop a personalized homeowner checklist, learn about defensible space to better protect your property, and even create your own evacuation "go bag". There are available resources for senior, child and animal evacuation preparedness listed below.

ANIMAL EVACUATION PREPAREDNESS

Tuolumne County Animal Control has developed information for livestock and small animals including dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and reptiles. This information can be used as a guide for residents preparing for an evacuation to better the safety of their animals. There is also other information available from FEMA and CAL FIRE regarding general preparedness for all animals.
