Climate Action Plan


Consistent with the goals and objectives identified in the Tuolumne County 2018 General Plan, the County is developing a Climate Action Plan (CAP) that will identify greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and adaptation measures as the County seeks to mitigate GHG emissions and plan for a resilient future. In developing the CAP, Tuolumne County staff will engage a cross-section of community members to provide meaningful input on the County’s goals and GHG reduction and adaptation measures. 


On September 9, 2022, the Board of Supervisors reviewed the Climate Action Plan and voted to send the CAP to staff for revisions. The revised Climate Action Plan will be heard at the Board of Supervisors meeting on November 8, 2022. All updates and revisions made to the CAP can be found below.

Draft Climate Action Plan for Public Review


The Draft Cap documents was available for public review from May 2 to June 15, 2022

A physical documents is also available for review at the Community Development Department
