Collection Companies (Franchise Haulers)

Households and businesses in Tuolumne County may subscribe to curbside collection services or you may self-haul your garbage to the transfer stations located in Tuolumne County.  For more information and locations of transfer stations please click HERE.

Bins & Debris Boxes

Commercial bins and large debris boxes are available to businesses and households on a monthly or temporary basis. Contact the garbage collection company in your service area for sizes and rates.

Prepaid Bag Program

Residents in service areas 1, 2, and 4 may purchase 45-gallon trash bags from their collection service company for drop-off or pickup. Contact the collection service company in your area for purchase and drop-off locations. The prepaid bags are also available from the Pine Mountain Lake Association (209-962-8600) and the Twain Harte Market (209-586-6100).

AB 2048

In September of 2022, AB 2048 was signed into state law.   The law requires jurisdictions to post on its website all current franchise agreements between contract solid waste and recycling haulers and the jurisdiction.  Click the links below to view the County’s current Franchise Agreement with each service provider.
