The Education Reimbursement Program is a County offered benefit for all employees in regular positions. The County will reimburse education expenses up to the IRS maximum each year. The approved programs shall relate to the work of the employer’s position, shall prepare the employee to transition to another County position, or shall prepare the employee for advancement to positions of greater responsibility in the County. The deadline for applying is April 1st of each year for approval of courses taken in the following fiscal year, beginning July 1st. Email notifications are sent out months prior to the deadline to remind employees about the benefit.
