On Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Tuolumne County Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division and Cal Sierra WM will be hosting a free community disposal event for Tuolumne County residents. The event will be held at the Chinese Camp Elementary School in the parking lot located at 13444 Red Hills Road. Residents are permitted to bring smoke damage debris and spoiled food; no fire damage debris will be accepted.
This program is intended to provide support for those impacted by the TCU September Lighting Complex fires.
