Due to difficulties in recruiting staff, the County will be opening its 2016 Pool Season with a modified schedule at all 4 pools in Columbia, Sonora, Tuolumne and Twain Harte. Armed with new hiring incentives and increased pay recently authorized by the Board of Supervisors, we hope to be able to recruit additional lifeguards, water safety instructors and pool managers that will allow the County to enhance our service offerings in coming weeks.
