The Position
The Social Worker IV specializes in cases involving children who have been abused or neglected.
The responsibilities may include but are not limited to: investigating and assessing allegations of child abuse and neglect; meeting with clients in their homes to assess safety of children; preparing extensive court reports and associated legal documents; testifying in court; arranging placement for children; transporting children; scheduling appointments and visitation; evaluating compliance with court orders; interpreting policies, rules, and regulations to clients; developing and implementing case plans with families; preparing and maintaining case documentation and other job-related duties as required.
