PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

Development and Permit Services Counter Closure 

February 13th & 14th 


On February 13th & 14th, the Development and Permit Service Center (Environmental Health, Land Use and Natural Resources, Building, and Housing and Community Programs) will be closed.


For both days, no planning and development related questions, permits or permit applications will be facilitated from the above-named divisions. All inspections and field activities will follow regular business procedures for each of these days.


This closure is intended to allow Community Development Department staff time to process building and planning permits, which have significantly increased because of the building code changes that were implemented on January 1, 2020.


The Development Information Center will re-open for business on Tuesday February 18th at 8am.

 

Date:               Thursday February 13th and Friday February 14th     

 

Subject:          Closure of the 4th floor offices of the Community Development Department (Environmental Health, Land Use and Natural Resources, Building, Housing and Community Programs) 

 

Time:             8:00 a.m. to  4:00 p.m.

 

Location:      48 Yaney, 4th Floor, Sonora, CA 95370


Public Works (Surveying, Engineering/Roads and Solid Waste) located on the 3rd floor of the ANF building will remain open during this time.
