                                  Update to Tuolumne County Buildings COVID Safety Requirements

In response to the surge in COVID-19 cases, Tuolumne County Public Health Officer, Dr. Eric Sergienko is recommending facial coverings be worn regardless of vaccination status.  This is further supported by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Governor of California.  Considering this recommendation, effective July 29, 2021 the County of Tuolumne has made modifications to the facial covering requirements within County buildings.

 

Upon entering a County building, signage has been posted stating, “Face Coverings Required Regardless of Vaccination Status”.

 

The Board of Supervisor Meetings will continue to be fully open to the public and require facial coverings regardless of vaccination status. Members of the public can continue to provide public comment by calling 209.533.6581 to queue for verbal public comment.  Public Comment will be opened and closed individually for each agenda item when the Board Clerk reads the item and will be limited to three minutes.  The Board Chair will ask members of the public who are physically present to make comments first and then he will ask members of public in the phone queue to comment.

 

The public will not have access for public comments through the following media, these are available for audio and visual only. 

1) the Tuolumne County Website: https://www.tuolumnecounty.ca.gov/745/Board-Meetings and/or 2) Zoom Webinar via computer at https://zoom.us/j/98737385155 and/or Call in at: (1) (669) 900-9128 with Webinar ID: 987 3738 5155 - Note: Zoom Webinar Services tends to have a reduced broadcasting delay in comparison to the County and Access Tuolumne live streams and is suggested for the closest to real time viewing and listening.

 

Written comments may be submitted by U.S. mail to the below address or emailed for retention as part of the administrative record, they will not be read during the meeting. Comments must be received by the Board Clerk no later than 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the noticed meeting. To submit written comments by email, please send to boardclerk@co.tuolumne.ca.us.
