On Saturday, May 18, 2024, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Tuolumne County Public WOrks Department, Solid Waste Division will be holding their Annual Household Hazardous Waste & Paint Collection Event for residents and qualifying businesses.
This is the time to safely dispose of any old and unwanted cleaners, paints, pesticides, pool chemicals, contaminated motor oil and gasoline taking up space around the garage, house or yard.
The event will be by appointment only and will be held at the Cal Sierra Recycling Center, located at 14909 Camage Ave., Sonora, CA. To schedule an appointment for drop off or to see if you have a qualifying business please call 1-800-811-2435.
This is a free event for Tuolumne County residents.
