Due to the COVID-19 Local Health Emergency
The Tuolumne County Public Library is modifying its policies and procedures for the duration of this health emergency. Please check back frequently for updates and new information regarding the closure and dates and times of Virtual Storytimes.
All material late fees will be waived during the library's closure.
If you need help accessing your library account please send us an email at libref@co.tuolumne.ca.us.
If you need a library card to access our online services please download and complete the Library Card Application form. You may also apply for your children. They can be mailed to libref@co.tuolumne.ca.us and staff will process the information and mail a library card to your mailing address.

Storyline Online offers books read by celebs which are free to share.  These could be posted on your library social media pages.

The Facebook group Storytime Underground has compiled a  list of authors and what they are offering here.   There are also other suggestions on tabs in this document—check it out!  It is being continuously updated.  Joining the group Storytime Underground or the Programming Librarian Interest Group on Facebook is another way to see the latest information being shared.

Library Services for People with Print Disabilities


California’s Library Services for People with Print Disabilities, in association with the Library of Congress, provides free Braille and audio books, magazines and playback equipment to all eligible Californians unable to read standard print. Follow the link to find your local braille and talking book library and sign up for free library service.


E-Books
We offer e-books for checkout. Using your library card and PIN, you can download e-book titles on your computer, e-book reader, or mobile device through our OverDrive Digital Media Catalog. This service is available for your device at home or though our Wi-Fi connection at the library. Please note that the library's public access computers cannot be used for this service.
