How do I apply?
Do you know that you can apply for CalFresh, view documents, submit verifications, report new information, view your EBT balance and much more using BenefitsCal? BenefitsCal is also available on your mobile phone by going to the App Store or Google Play. For faster processing of your application fill out all questions on the application and submit proof of your income and identity.
Applicants can complete an online application at BenefitsCal or GetCalFresh.org.

How to apply for Public Assistance Online
- Apply using the BenefitsCal website.
- You will have to create a user login with BenefitsCal in order to apply online.
- Once you create a user login, you will have to fill out the online forms and submit the e-application.
How to apply for Public Assistance by Mail
- Request an application by calling 209-533-7312 or 209-533-5725.
- The county can mail you an application packet forms.
- Or download the application form.
- Fill out the application packet forms and mail it to:
