Tuolumne County Solid Waste now offers used cooking oil disposal at our Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility located in Jamestown
Only liquid cooking oil will be accepted. Fats or grease generated at home, that are solid at room temperature, may go into the garbage. Please place grease in a tightly sealed container before disposing of it.
Facility will accept up to 5 gallons of used (clean) cooking oil per resident, NO business waste allowed.
Facility is open 1 day per month, by appointment only, please contact Tuolumne County Solid Waste at (209) 533-5588 to schedule an appointment.
Used cooking oil will be recycled to use as livestock feed or used to make biodiesel fuel.
