Tuolumne County offers medical, dental, and vision insurance to our full-time employees and their dependents with a monthly County contribution to help cover the cost of premiums. Out-of-pocket costs will vary according to the plan selected, the number of dependents enrolled, and your bargaining unit.
All new employees will attend a mandatory new hire orientation session, where they will be provided with a benefit overview and have the opportunity to enroll online. You will automatically be assigned to an orientation session and provided additional details regarding location, date and time, etc. The coverage selected will be effective the 1st day of the month following the employee’s start date.
