Thanks to all who participated in and attended the Community Roots Resource Fair /Health Fair at the fairgrounds this year.
Hold the date for next year: September 23, 2026.
Screenings will be offered in the Sierra Building at the fairgrounds. Various community providers will offer the screenings and connection to resources along with the vast array of other resources being offered as part of Community Roots (see maps below).
Free health screenings will be offered for the duration of the event and tentatively include the screenings below.:
Foot exams
Bone density
Vision
Glucose
Pulse oximetry
Blood pressure
Depression screening
Height and weight
Balance
Oral health
Genetic screening
Hep C and STI
Hands-Only CPR will be demonstrated.
In addition, Lab Draw Vouchers will be available for purchase for $45. The voucher will be good for 30 days, to get the labs drawn at the Adventist Health Sonora laboratory during their normal business hours. Optional Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test for men will be available for $10. Included in the lab draws are the following tests:
