Natural Resources Committee

Purpose Statement

The Natural Resources Committee serves as an advisory group to the Board of Supervisors on all issues related to natural resources (e.g. water and power rights, fisheries, timber management, forest health, access to recreation areas on public lands, etc.). One of the key responsibilities of this committee is to review draft staff reports to the full Board containing proposed comments on plans, studies, actions, and environmental documents emanating from state or federal agencies concerning public lands.

Fish and Game Preservation Fund Advisory Committee (1) – Voting

Agricultural Advisory Committee (1) – Voting

Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District (1) Voting

At Large Member (1) Voting

Principal Staff Support:

County Administration Staff Member

County Counsel, as needed
