The Housing Loan Review Committee aka the HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) was created by the Board of Supervisors in 2005 to provide oversight of the County’s affordable housing programs including the First-Time Homebuyer, Housing Rehabilitation and Rental Assistance Programs. These programs are grant funded through entities such as the State of California HOME Partnership Program, Community Development Block Grant Program, and the CalHome Program. Committee members review and approve program loans and guidelines and provide general oversight of the County’s affordable housing program and affordable housing loan portfolio.
Resolution No. 48-10 rescinded R150-05 and established the committee on June 1, 2010.
The membership of the Committee is comprised of:
One member of the Board of Supervisors, who serves as Chair;
One banking/lending representative;
One Housing-related non-profit organization representative;
Two real estate industry representatives, who have financial and/or construction experience;
One member of the Community Development Department LUNR staff; and
The Tuolumne County Chief Building Official.
