Immunization Clinic Services
We offer immunizations for children who qualify and some immunizations for adults. We also offer tuberculosis (TB) skin testing. Our clinic services are available to Tuolumne County residents. We require that paperwork and immunization records be submitted in advance.
We do not accept private health insurance (i.e., Blue Cross, Kaiser). Please contact your regular medical provider or local pharmacy for vaccines if you have private insurance.
We do not offer travel vaccines.

AVAILABLE SERVICES:
- TB skin tests: Available for $22.
- Flu shots: Free flu shots are available to everyone 6 months of age and older.
- COVID-19 shots: Our clinic provides COVID-19 immunizations to those who qualify for the VFC and BAP programs.- VFC: The Vaccines for Children Program serves children 18 years and younger who meet one of the following requirements: Uninsured, Medi-Cal eligible, American Indian or Alaskan native.
- BAP: The California Bridge Access Program serves adults 19 years and older who are uninsured or underinsured.
 
- Routine childhood immunizations other than flu or COVID shots:- If you have Medi-Cal or are American Indian or Alaskan Native: Please make an appointment with your child’s pediatrician. If they do not have appointments available, you may schedule an appointment with our clinic. If you need a referral to a pediatrician, please call us at (209) 533-7401.
- No insurance: Please call the Department of Social Services at 209-533-5711 to ask about getting health insurance. You may schedule an appointment with our clinic while you await health insurance.
 
- Adult immunizations other than flu or COVID shots:- We offer Hepatitis B immunizations to adults for a fee, regardless of insurance status.
- We offer Rabies Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to those who fall within a risk category. PrEP is not regularly stocked and is ordered upon pre-payment. Please call to speak with our Immunization Nurse regarding eligibility.
 
SCHEDULE - All services require an appointment (no walk-ins)
- Tuesdays 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. TB Skin Tests & Seasonal Flu Shots
- Tuesdays 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Immunizations
- Thursdays 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. TB Test Reads/Follow-up
- Thursdays 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Immunizations (overflow appts.)
REQUIRED IMMUNIZATION PAPERWORK
- Shot records must be submitted to Public Health by the Thursday before your scheduled appointment. You may drop them off at our office, fax them to 209-533-7406, or email them to health@tuolumnecounty.ca.gov
- Flu Shot Registration Form- please complete and bring with you to your appointment.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- If you or your children are sick, please do not come to our office. You may call to reschedule your appointment.
- Please limit the number of people coming into the office as much as possible.
- A parent or guardian must accompany their children, those under the age of 18.
- Our staff will call you the day before your appointment to remind you of your appointment and to screen you and/or your children for signs of illness.
- Our staff will screen you and/or your children for signs of illness when you arrive for your appointment. If you are found to have signs of illness, we will not serve you and will reschedule your appointment.

Immunization Requirements for Childcare and TK and K-12 Schools
School Reporting Requirements
California schools are required to check immunization records for all new student admissions at TK/Kindergarten through 12th grade and all students advancing to 7th grade before entry. Parents must show their child's Immunization Record as proof of immunization. For more information visit https://www.shotsforschool.org/k-12/
