Tuolumne County District Attorney Cassandra Jenecke announced today that on Monday, June 16, 2025, Gino Corsi was sentenced to 11 years 4 months State Prison. On May 20, 2025, Mr. Corsi pled guilty to the sale of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine for sale, felon in possession of ammunition, four counts of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a silencer and maintaining a place for selling controlled substances.
On March 3, 2025, a traffic stop was conducted on two individuals in possession of four ounces of cocaine. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Team (TNT) responded to the traffic stop and began conducting an investigation to try and learn from where these individuals purchased the narcotics. TNT’s investigation led them to the residence where Mr. Corsi was staying. A search warrant was executed at the residence on March 5, 2025 where ammunition and controlled substances were located. Follow up investigation led TNT to the Sonora Gold Lodge where another search warrant was executed on March 8, 2025. It was learned that Mr. Corsi had been using a motel room at the Sonora Gold Lodge to sell controlled substances. Besides controlled substances, multiple firearms, a silencer, and ammunition were located. Mr. Corsi has a prior felony conviction and is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.
