Transfer Stations

Households and businesses may haul their own trash to one of three local transfer stations (dumps) for a fee. Contact the transfer station for rates.

Bulky Waste

Furniture, mattresses, appliances and other items too large for a garbage can/cart can be taken directly to the Cal Sierra Transfer Station or the Groveland Transfer Station for disposal. Call for rates.

Green Waste and Inerts

The Cal Sierra Earth Resource Facility accepts the following items for a fee:

  • Brush, grass clippings, pine needles, leaves and stumps up to 24" in diameter
  • Lumber and untreated wood waste
  • Asphalt, brick concrete and rock
  • Treated wood waste

Construction/Demolition Debris

Some construction and demolition debris can be recycled at the Earth Resource Facility. See Green Waste and Inerts.
